Forward Deployed Data Scientist

Forward Deployed Data Scientist (founding) $200K–250K - San Francisco
This is not your standard DS role.
We need someone with product intuition + technical depth + customer presence.
Our partner is building the future of analytics for AI-native products, and we need someone who can sit across customers, product, and code- not just crunch numbers.
If you’re the type who’s considered founding but didn’t have the right idea/co-founder yet, this is the closest you’ll get. You’ll join at day zero, help turn design partners into paying customers, and directly shape how the next generation of AI products get built.
What we’re looking for

• 4+ years in high-caliber product analytics/growth teams
• Ability to own customer/exec relationships- this is not a back-office role.
• Track record of shipping analytics frameworks/tools adopted by product/growth teams.
• Python, SQL, pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, BigQuery/Snowflake.
• Comfortable with causal inference, experimentation, and LLM evaluation.
