Tax or Business Services Accountant (Sponsorship available)

We are a small but passionate Accounting and Mortgage Broking firm seeking a dedicated Accountant with 1+ years of experience in an accounting practice to join our team. We are prepared to offer the visa sponsorship for the right candidate.

The role will involve but not limited to: 

• Prepare financial statements for companies, trusts, and SMSFs.
• Conduct client interviews and prepare tax returns, including complex returns.
• Perform bookkeeping and prepare BAS returns.
• Provide business advisory services, including entity formation.
• Build and develop client relationships.
• Collaborate and assist other team members.

Essential Skills and experience to succeed in this role: 
 

• Minimum 1 years of experience in public practice.
• Proficient in preparing tax returns and financials for various entities.
• Experience with Xero is required.
• Familiarity with mortgage broking is a significant bonus.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• A genuine passion for accounting and client service.
