Job SummaryWe are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to provide high-quality care and assistance to individuals in a Residential Setting. The successful candidate will play a vital role in enhancing the wellbeing and independence of clients, ensuring their safety, comfort, and dignity are maintained at all times. Duties- Assist clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
- Support with meal preparation and feeding as required
- Administer medication in accordance with prescribed guidelines
- Engage with in house and external activities
- Support clients with medical needs through basic first aid and health monitoring
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Drive clients to appointments or outings when necessary - essential to have a UK Valid driving licence for manual car
- Document care provided accurately using electronic Care Docs system
Requirements- Previous experience in support work is highly desirable
- Knowledge of supporting individuals with a diagnosis of Mental Health.
- Relevant mandatory training to be undertaken aswell as Registering with Social Care Wales.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Valid UK driving licence essential for transportation duties to appointments or home visits.
- Ability to work flexibly across various shifts including mornings, evenings, or weekends as the service requires.
- Basic understanding of medication administration protocols
- Reliable, organised, and able to work independently or as part of a team
