Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Manager to oversee the operations of our authentic Indian restaurant. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing bar services, supervising staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a hospitality professional with a passion for Indian cuisine and beverage service to lead a vibrant team in a bustling restaurant environment. Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily bar operations, including drink preparation, serving, and ensuring quality standards are met
  • Supervise and manage bar staff, providing training and support to ensure excellent service delivery
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless food and beverage pairing and presentation
  • Maintain stock levels, order supplies, and manage inventory efficiently
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times
  • Lead the team in delivering exceptional customer experiences, resolving any issues promptly
  • Implement promotional activities to enhance the restaurant’s reputation and customer engagement
  • Monitor financial performance of the bar section, including sales targets and waste control
  • Uphold the restaurant’s brand standards in appearance, service quality, and hospitality

Qualifications
  • Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting, preferably in Indian cuisine or similar culinary environments
  • Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster a positive working environment
  • Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols
  • Experience in food production, kitchen operations, or hotel environments is desirable
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure
  • Background in serving or hospitality roles demonstrating strong customer service skills
  • Leadership qualities with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making
  • Familiarity with barista experience or beverage preparation is advantageous but not essential
  • Relevant culinary experience or hotel experience will be considered a plus
