The opportunity: Associated Engineering, a proudly Canadian, employee-owned company, is seeking an experienced and dedicated
Intermediate Civil Engineering Technologist to join our team in our
Niagara-on-the-Lake office. In this role you will be responsible for working with a team of professional engineers and technologists to provide design services in accordance with company and client standards. The work will be performed for a variety of public and private sector clients with a focus on civil related design and drafting, including earthworks, utility piping, surface drainage, and roadways, in both rural and urban municipal settings. Excellent communication and strong organizational skills are required. We are seeking individuals who are capable of efficiently managing multiple tasks while meeting project deadlines and who thrive in a dynamic team environment. The position will also provide you with autonomy, as you will be required to complete tasks with minimal supervision and have the ability to move into a project CAD lead role.

Job Requirements:
Does this sound like you? - A diploma in civil engineering, or engineering design and drafting, from an accredited technical institution.
- Registered or eligible or registration with OACETT.
- 5+ years experience designing using AutoCAD and Civil 3D, with keen attention to design.
- Familiarity and design experience on civil infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in MS Office software applications such as Word and Excel.
- Experience in a multi-discipline design environment is an asset.
- Committed team player with the ability to work independently.
