• Supervise children during playtime, learning activities, mealtimes, and nap times to ensure their safety and wellbeing.
• Support Early Years Educators in delivering engaging, age‑appropriate learning activities.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming nursery environment while following health, hygiene, and safeguarding standards.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication.
• Assist with classroom routines and encourage positive behaviour using appropriate childcare practices.
• Help organise educational activities, outings, and special events that enrich children’s learning experiences.
• Observe children’s development and share feedback with the nursery team to support their progress.

Requirements

• Previous experience working in a nursery, preschool, childcare, or early years setting is desirable.
• Good understanding of early childhood development and childcare best practices.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach to working with young children.
• Good organisational and teamwork skills.
• A valid UK driving licence is an advantage but not essential.
• Childcare qualifications or relevant certifications are preferred; however, training will be provided for suitable candidates who are eager to learn.
