We are seeking a
Senior IT Product Lead who will be leading a portfolio of digital products that support the development and delivery of innovative solutions within a life sciences environment. The position is responsible for shaping product strategy, guiding development, and ensuring operational excellence across digital applications. Working within a product-centric model, this role defines product roadmaps, partners cross-functionally, and drives agile execution to deliver scalable, user-focused solutions that support research, development, and commercial functions.
Key Responsibilities:- Own and manage more than two digital products across areas such as Clinical Trials Applications, R&D Informatics, and Supply Chain, defining product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned to business goals
- Gather stakeholder requirements and translate into product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Support market research and technology evaluations; assess initiatives based on business value, technical feasibility, and compliance
- Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, design, and security standards
- Lead full product lifecycle delivery (concept through launch and post-launch) using Agile (Scrum, Kanban) methodologies
- Partner with engineering, architecture, QA, and vendors/third parties to deliver secure, scalable, high-quality applications
- Drive user experience improvements through usability testing and end-user feedback
- Collaborate cross-functionally to translate technical concepts into business terms, align on priorities and deliverables, and support planning and decision-making
- Maintain ongoing communication between IT and business stakeholders
- Ensure application stability, performance, and security in partnership with IT operations
- Manage vendor relationships and third-party solutions
- Support compliance with GxP, HIPAA, GDPR and contribute to quality assurance activities
- Maintain data management and AI practices for accuracy, reliability, and data protection
- Monitor KPIs and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement
Minimum Qualifications:- 5+ years supporting Enterprise IT initiatives
- 7+ years of progressive experience in IT, digital applications, or product management, preferably within life sciences, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology
- Experience leading teams in a product-centric, Agile environment
- Strong understanding of drug discovery, clinical development, quality, and regulatory submission processes
- Experience delivering complex digital products that drive business value
- Hands-on experience with relevant platforms/tools such as: Veeva, LabWare LIMS, TraceLink; Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure; Systems: LIMS, EDC, CTMS, CRM platforms used in pharma
- Familiarity with GxP regulatory environments
- Product management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban) and product lifecycle management
- Strong technical acumen with understanding of IT architecture and development processes
- Strategic thinking and data-driven decision-making
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong collaboration and cross-functional teamwork
