The ideal candidate is a strong leader with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences while fostering a positive work environment for the team. Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure smooth functioning of the restaurant.
- Motivate, train, and support staff to achieve excellent service standards.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly, ensuring an exceptional dining experience.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards as per local regulations.
- Create and maintain spreadsheets for inventory, cost control and wages.
- Oversee daily cash flow, reconcile receipts, and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Work closely with management to develop strategies for enhancing service, sales, and profitability.
- Supervising the floor to ensure that all INNGrill standards and steps of service are met through all guest interactions.
- Ensuring that checklists, requisitions, and proper opening and closing functions are being completed each shift.
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to provide clear direction to the team.
- Observe performance and encourage improvement where necessary.
- Ensure staffing levels are accurate based on restaurant, events, and hotel business levels. Organize and conduct pre-shift and departmental meetings communicating pertinent information to the team, such as house count and menu changes.
- Communicate with guests and employees using a positive and clear speaking voice, listen to and understand requests, respond with appropriate actions, and provide accurate information.
- Remain calm and alert, especially during emergency situation and/or heavy restaurant and hotel activity, serving as a role model for the team and other hotel team members at large.
- Ensure basic standard operating procedures for all facilities under Food & Beverage are in place and are in compliance with Federal, Provincial, local and INNGrill’s own practices.
- Ensuring that all steps of services as outlines in training materials are being followed on a daily basis.

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in food and beverage service, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong knowledge in Microsoft Excel is required.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective team management and guest interaction.
- Ability to work early morning shifts and adapt to a dynamic work environment
- Valid ProServe certification is required.
