Hairstylist with Immigration Assistance

Job Overview We’re seeking a talented, client-focused Hair Stylist to join our growing team. You’ll create stunning looks, deliver exceptional service, and build lasting client relationships in a welcoming, professional environment. Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality hair colour services (including balayage, highlights/lowlights, blonding, colour correction) and keratin treatments with consistent, beautiful results.
• Provide precision haircuts, blowouts/styling, updos/occasion hair, and scalp/hair treatments tailored to client goals.
• Conduct thorough consultations; educate clients on after-care for colour, balayage, and keratin services.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary station and comply with all health & safety standards.
• Recommend products and add-on services to enhance results and support sales targets.
• Support front-desk needs as required (booking, POS, client records).
• Stay current on trends, techniques, and products; participate in ongoing education.
• Contribute to a positive, team-first atmosphere that encourages repeat visits and referrals.
• (Asset) Offer basic aesthetic services—waxing, makeup, facials—if trained/comfortable.

Skills & Expertise

• Hair Colour (expert): global colour, grey coverage, gloss/toner, dimensional colour, root melts/shadow root, blonding & colour correction.
• Signature Techniques: balayage (freehand & foilyage), lived-in colour, high-lift blondes, dimensional brunettes.
• Smoothing & Repair: keratin treatments (consultation, application, after-care), bond builders, deep conditioning.
• Core Hair Services: precision cutting (short/long), styling/blowouts, updos, scalp/hair treatments; extensions experience is a plus.
• Client Care & Retail: personalized consultations, home-care plans, professional product recommendations.
• Aesthetics (Asset, not required): waxing, makeup, facials, brows/lashes.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Hair Stylist with a portfolio demonstrating colour/balayage and keratin results.
• Strong client communication and service mindset.
• Knowledge of sanitation best practices and commitment to a safe work environment.
• Confidence with retail recommendations and upselling while maintaining client trust and satisfaction.
• Front-desk familiarity (scheduling, POS) is an asset.
• Valid cosmetology/hairstylist license; commitment to ongoing education.
• Keratin certification (or willingness to obtain) is an asset.
• (Asset) Training/certification in waxing, makeup, or facials—welcomed but not required.

Immigration & Work Permit Support (for eligible candidates)

• Employer-side documentation typically required by IRCC (job offer details, duties, compensation, conditions) can be provided.
• Where appropriate, we can coordinate with a licensed Canadian immigration professional (RCIC or lawyer). Professional fees, government fees, and biometrics/medical costs are the candidate’s responsibility.
• If an LMIA or LMIA-exempt route is pursued, it will comply with Canadian regulations and is not guaranteed; all decisions rest with IRCC/ESDC.
• Candidates must be eligible to obtain a Canadian work permit and comply with all immigration requirements.
