Mining Engineer

• Site based - open pit coal operation
• 5/2 roster - relocation assistance provided

The opportunity:
The client is a well known owners team who operate a large open pit coal mine in NSW. This is a permanent position (not suitable for contractors) and the site performs well and has a great reputation.
Roster is Monday to Friday and we can offer an attractive salary package with the final figure largely determined by your experience level and expectation.
Preference is for a background in coal - but we are open to metals and we can facilitate visa sponsorship for those already in Australia.
Experience required:

• Bachelor Degree in Mining OR Civil Engineer OR another related qualification
• 2 to 7 years of site based experience working as a mining engineer for an open pit truck and shovel operation
• Experienced with a range of mining software applications - VULCAN, SPRY etc
• Good communicator - written and verbal
