Our small, family-owned restaurant group based in beautiful Nelson is looking for a passionate, hands-on Operations Manager to help take our venues to the next level. About Us:** We’re a proud local business with several restaurants, each has its own flavour but united by a love of great food, exceptional service, and strong community values. The Role:** As Operations Manager, you’ll oversee the day-to-day performance of our venues, support our venue managers, and help us refine systems as we continue to grow sustainably. You’ll report directly to the owners and act as a key link between the kitchen, front of house, and leadership team. Responsibilities:** * Oversee operations across all venues to ensure smooth and efficient service
* Lead, support, and mentor venue managers and team leads
* Monitor and manage budgets, payroll, stock, and supplier relationships
* Ensure consistent high standards in food quality, customer experience, and health & safety compliance
* Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and training
* Work alongside ownership to implement strategies for growth and continuous improvement About You:** * Proven experience in hospitality management, ideally in multi-site or group operations
* A natural leader who communicates clearly and inspires others
* Solid understanding of financials, rostering, and cost controls
* Comfortable working both strategically and on the floor when needed
* Strong problem-solving skills and a calm head under pressure
