Our multi-disciplinary team includes Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, and Psychologists, working together to deliver evidence-based and client-centred care.We are now seeking a dedicated Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our growing team and make a real difference in the lives of our clients and their families. About the RoleAs a Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Practitioner, you will:
  • Develop, implement, and review Positive Behaviour Support Plans (PBSPs) aligned with NDIS Quality & Safeguards Commission standards.
  • Work collaboratively with clients, families, carers, and other allied health professionals to provide holistic support.
  • Conduct functional behaviour assessments and identify strategies to reduce behaviours of concern.
  • Provide education, coaching, and training to families, carers, and support staff.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting in line with compliance requirements.
  • Contribute to team meetings, case discussions, and ongoing professional development.

Essential Criteria:
  • Relevant qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, or a related allied health field.
  • Registration or provisional registration with relevant professional body (e.g. AHPRA, AASW, SPA).
  • Eligibility or current status as an NDIS-registered Behaviour Support Practitioner (core, proficient, or advanced).
  • Experience working with individuals with disability, autism, or behaviours of concern.
  • Knowledge of NDIS frameworks and compliance requirements.

Desirable Criteria:
  • Experience working in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Additional training in behaviour support approaches and interventions.
