Job Description:
Civil Construction Worker | Hazell Bros Group Build the infrastructure that keeps communities moving. Hazell Bros Group is seeking hardworking and safety-focused Civil Construction Workers to support the delivery of roads, bridges, drainage systems, subdivisions, and other civil infrastructure projects. This is a great opportunity to join a respected construction team and contribute to projects that make a lasting impact. Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with earthworks, excavation, trenching, and site preparation
  • Support road construction, drainage installation, concrete works, and pipe laying
  • Operate hand tools and small construction equipment
  • Load, unload, and move construction materials around the worksite
  • Assist plant operators and maintain tools and equipment
  • Follow workplace health, safety, and environmental procedures
  • Participate in daily toolbox talks and maintain a clean, organised worksite
  • Work collaboratively to meet project deadlines and quality standards

Skills & Experience
  • Previous experience in civil construction, roadworks, or general labouring
  • White Card (Construction Induction Card)
  • Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to workplace safety and quality
  • Current Australian driver's licence

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience operating small plant or construction machinery
  • HR, HC, or MC driver's licence
  • Traffic Management or Traffic Control certification
  • Excavator, roller, skid steer, or loader tickets
  • First Aid and CPR certification
