Bar/Restaurant Supervisor

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Manager to oversee our bar operations and ensure an exceptional guest experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for hospitality, with a keen understanding of both bartending and kitchen operations. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing staff, maintaining high standards of food safety, and ensuring the efficient production and preparation of beverages and food items. Duties

• Lead and manage the bar team, fostering a positive work environment that encourages collaboration and excellence in service.
• Oversee the daily operations of the bar, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, particularly in food safety practices.
• Develop and implement innovative drink menus while maintaining quality control over all beverages served.
• Assist in food preparation when necessary, ensuring that all items meet our high standards for presentation and taste.
• Train staff on bartending techniques, customer service skills, and food safety protocols to enhance overall efficiency.
• Manage inventory levels, placing orders for supplies as needed while minimising waste.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service during busy periods, ensuring seamless operation between the bar and kitchen.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a bar management role or similar position within the hospitality industry.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Excellent knowledge of bartending techniques, beverage production, and food preparation processes.
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in a restaurant setting.
• Exceptional communication skills with a focus on providing outstanding customer service.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by the business needs.
