The Opportunity

• Our client is a leading global provider of asset and wealth management solutions. They provide investment processing, investment management, and investment operations solutions that help corporations, financial institutions, financial advisors, and ultra-high-net-worth families create and manage wealth.
• This team is currently seeking a candidate in Trade Execution who is willing to work onsite in Manhattan, NY, alongside client & end client Director of Operations.
• The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in trading across the markets while maintaining strong relationships with brokers and adhering to best practices.
• Familiarity with Advent-Moxy and related systems and the ability to support special requests from the Director of Operations is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute trades across equity markets in line with portfolio management instructions.
• Ensure trade is executed efficiently with minimal market impact and in compliance with the best execution standards.
• Monitor global markets during live trading hours to identify trading opportunities and risks.
• Stay updated on market trends, news, and events that may impact trading strategies.
• Understand nuances in trading venues, settlement processes, and liquidity conditions in global markets.
• Provide insights and feedback to the Portfolio.
• Support asset allocation methodologies.
• Manage Dashboards in real time.
• Identify inefficiencies in trading workflows and propose solutions to enhance productivity and minimize errors.
• Help shape the trading desk's strategy, tools, and processes.

Requirements for this role include:

• Minimum 3-7 years’ experience at an equity firm, with a focus on global equity markets.
• In-depth knowledge of Moxy (the use of Moxy for trade execution and you’ll work directly with brokers on the street).
  • Moxy integrates and streamlines all aspects of the investment management process, from portfolio construction through settlement. Moxy provides a stable, centralized location for making and executing trading decisions, enabling portfolio managers and traders to move quickly in today’s more demanding marketplace.
• Strong knowledge of execution strategies, benchmarks (VWAP, TWAP, arrival price, etc.)
• Ability to perform post-trade analytics and utilize transaction cost analysis (TCA) tools.
• Strong knowledge of market microstructure and trading regulations.
• Proficiency in trading platforms and tools

We anticipate the base salary range for this position at approximately $55.00 - $60.00/HR USD. The actual base compensation offered will be determined by various factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant years of experience, career progression, qualifications, educational background, certifications or professional licenses, and role-specific skills. Base salary represents one element of comprehensive compensation package, which also includes robust benefits and may include incentive-based compensation.
