Mental Health - Nurse Consultant

• Provide high-level clinical care to patients 

• Lead and support mental health service improvements 

• Mentor and supervise junior staff, student nurses, and multidisciplinary team members 

• Drive process improvements and lead exciting projects that enhance local mental health services 

• Collaborate with community stakeholders, including working closely with Aboriginal clients and communities 

• You’ll work business hours with participation in an after-hours on-call roster (some flexibility and out-of-hours work may be required)  

 What You’ll Bring 

• Registered (or eligible to register) with Ahpra under General Nursing 

• Graduate Diploma in Mental Health Nursing (or equivalent) 

• Minimum 3 years post-registration experience 

• Strong expertise in mental health nursing, aligned with professional standards 

• Leadership and supervision experience across a multidisciplinary team 

• Current driver’s licence
