Job Title: Workday Consultant Location: Charlotte, NC; Plano, TX; Kennesaw, GA; Chicago, IL (Hybrid) Job type: W2 Contract with Mastech Digital (No C2C/No CTH/No 1099)

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure and maintain Workday Talent and Recruiting modules, including job requisitions, candidate pipelines, interview workflows, and onboarding templates.
• Implement new features such as Candidate Rating Templates, AI-generated Job Descriptions, and Skills Cloud for Candidate Pools introduced in Workday 2024R1 and R2
• Collaborate with HR, Talent Acquisition, and IT stakeholders to design solutions, and execute configuration changes.
• Conduct impact analysis for Workday releases and manage regression testing and deployment planning
• Support Talent Review Templates, Succession Planning, and Workday Talent Cards to enhance workforce planning and development
• Ensure data integrity and compliance with enterprise security and governance standards.
• Provide training and documentation for end-users and HR partners.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience configuring Workday, with a focus on Talent and Recruiting.
• Strong understanding of Workday’s Staffing, Job Requisition, and Candidate Management domains.
• Strong knowledge on Workday Talent management and review process.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Workday Pro Certification in Talent and/or Recruiting preferred.

Primary job duties / responsibilities:

• Design, build and support testing of Workday Extend applications based on client application requirements, incorporating functional, security, technical, performance, quality, and operations consideration through to deployment
• Actively solve?complex business problems?by leveraging Workday cloud platform functionality, with primary focus on Workday Extend, integrations and custom reporting across a wide array of Human Capital Management functional areas?
• Collaborate with cross functional teams, to meet client objectives for the Workday extend deployment, with focus on usability, functionality and performance of the Extend application(s)
• Responsible for timely identification and escalation of risks and development of alternative technical and functional approaches when necessary??
• Lead with an innovative mindset to solution and design Extend solutions to solve complex business requirements for our clients
