As a Layout Engineer, you'll play a strategic role in bridging technical capabilities with customer needs, thereby ensuring that complex systems are seamlessly integrated, both physically and functionally.
The Role In this dynamic position, you'll be the architect of high-impact layouts, designing and optimizing production systems from concept through to delivery. You're in direct contact with the end customer, translation their specific needs and requirements in optimal custom-made designs. Your work will enhance efficiency, sustainability, and maintainability across complex installations.
What you'll do:
  • Develop detailed factory, production, and process layouts using 2D and 3D CAD;
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure holistic and feasible designs;
  • Plan, prioritize, and deliver technically sound layout solutions under tight schedules;
  • Serve as a key stakeholder support partner in fast-paced project environments;
  • Lead or contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for layout deliverables and workflows.

This is You You’re a technically confident, detail-driven engineer with a flair for design and collaboration. You thrive in fast-paced, multidisciplinary settings and are eager to contribute to real-world, highly complex automated solutions.
Your profile includes:
  • Master's or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production/Process Engineering, Industrial Logistics, or a related discipline;
  • At least 3–5 years of experience in factory layout, production design, or process engineering;
  • Proficiency with 2D/3D CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks);
  • Strong (English) communication skills (written and verbal) to align with diverse stakeholders;
  • A track record of delivering results and meeting (or exceeding) expectations;
  • Attributes such as independence, ambition, resilience (“grit”), stakeholder management and multitasking capability, and a passion for both people and technology.
