Importer / Exporter – Automotive Trade

Company OverviewRF International Trade Pty Ltd is an Australian-based automotive export company specialising in the sourcing, processing, and international export of salvage vehicles, used cars, and auto parts.The business operates across multiple international markets including the Middle East, South Asia, and Asia, managing end-to-end supply chain operations including procurement, storage, compliance, containerisation, and global shipping logistics.Due to continued growth and expansion of international trade operations, we are seeking an experienced Importer / Export Manager to join our team. Position OverviewThis role is responsible for managing international import and export operations, overseeing logistics and compliance processes, and developing strong supplier and customer relationships across global markets.The position plays a critical role in supporting the company’s expanding cross-border automotive trade operations. Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end import and export operations for vehicles and auto parts
• Coordinate sourcing, procurement, storage, and international shipment of goods
• Oversee export documentation, customs compliance, and regulatory requirements
• Develop and maintain relationships with international suppliers and buyers
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and shipping arrangements
• Monitor logistics performance, turnaround times, and operational efficiency
• Identify new business opportunities across global automotive markets
• Analyse market trends and support expansion into new regions
• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders including transport providers, warehouses, and overseas partners

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in import/export, logistics, or international trade
• Experience in automotive industry (vehicles or auto parts preferred)
• Strong knowledge of international markets, particularly Middle East and/or Asia
• Experience managing supplier and customer relationships across multiple countries
• Understanding of export compliance, shipping documentation, and logistics processes
• Demonstrated experience in business operations or leadership roles
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment

Job Type: Full-timePay: $110,000.00 – $120,000.00 per yearBenefits:
