Ideally the successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Chef in a commercial kitchen.

- Lead and motivate staff in all aspects of kitchen operations and presentation.

- Proven experience in kitchen management systems, stocktake, costings and financial control.
- Proven experience in modern and on trend menu development with the head and sous chefs.
- Attention to detail while presenting a high standard of attractive and tasty dishes for our patrons.
- Strong communication skills with a good attitude towards front and back of house staff
- Effective time management skills with the ability to work well under pressure
- Compliance with all relevant occupational health and safety regulations including hygiene policies
Tasks may include:- planning menus, estimating food and labour costs, and ordering food supplies
- monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation
