About the Role:We are seeking an experienced
Design Verification Engineer to join a high-performing team focused on validating complex IP and SoC architectures. This is a long-term, onsite opportunity in either Austin, TX or Sunnyvale, CA, offering the chance to work in a cutting-edge design environment and partner with multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
Core Responsibilities:- Design and execute comprehensive verification strategies for IP and SoC-level designs
- Construct robust test benches to validate sub-system and chip-level functionality
- Write and run functional tests aligned with defined verification plans
- Analyze verification results, debug issues, identify root causes, and collaborate closely with design engineers to resolve bugs
- Work in sync with modeling, emulation, and silicon validation teams to maintain top-tier design standards
- Drive the verification process to completion, ensuring test plan coverage and metric fulfillment (functional/code coverage)
Required Skills & Background:- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science
- Solid experience with Verilog, SystemVerilog, and UVM methodology
- Skilled in verification at both IP and SoC levels using SystemVerilog UVM/OVM techniques
- Proficient with scripting and automation using Python, Perl, or Shell
- Deep understanding of EDA tools and verification infrastructure development
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience building UVM environments from scratch
- Exposure to verifying systems for data center technologies, such as AI/ML, networking, or video applications
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git, Mercurial (Hg), or SVN
- Background in verifying ARM or RISC-V based SoCs or subsystems
