Trinity College Dublin- an introduction Post Summary The Deputy Data Protection Officer (Research) will deputize to the College DPO (Research). The role of DPO is designated under GDPR on the basis of professional qualities and, in particular, expert knowledge of data protection law and practices and the ability to fulfil the tasks referred to in Article 39 GDPR. The Deputy DPO role is key to ensuring the College can comply with its obligations relating to data protection and will provide support, and guidance to the research community (staff and students) within Trinity College Dublin, The University of Dublin.
