Job Description:
A leading global investment manager is seeking an experienced Compliance professional to join its Asia team. This role supports a broad investment management platform across multiple jurisdictions, covering both public and private markets activities. This position will suit candidates atVP level , depending on experience, with scope to operate in a hands-on advisory capacity while partnering closely with the business. Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide compliance advisory support to the investment management business across Asia
  2. Interpret and apply regulatory requirements, particularly in relation to cross-border activities, product distribution and marketing
  3. Review marketing and client materials to ensure regulatory compliance
  4. Draft, implement and maintain policies and procedures in line with regional and global standards
  5. Support regulatory engagement, including audits, inspections, filings and ad hoc queries
  6. Deliver training and communicate regulatory developments to relevant stakeholders
  7. Contribute to regional and global initiatives, including new product and business launches

Key Requirements
  1. 8–10+ years’ compliance experience within financial services
  2. Good working knowledge of regulatory frameworks across Asia
  3. Strong analytical capability, with the ability to interpret and apply regulatory requirements effectively
  4. Effective communicator, able to engage confidently with stakeholders across business and functional teams
  5. Demonstrates sound judgement and intellectual agility, with the ability to assess issues and respond effectively in real time
  6. Commercial and pragmatic in approach, balancing regulatory requirements with business objectives
  7. Comfortable operating in a global environment, including flexibility to engage with international stakeholders across time zones where required
