We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our culinary team as a Kitchen Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of meals while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. Your culinary skills will contribute to creating delightful dining experiences for our guests. Duties

• Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and standards
• Assist in meal preparation, ensuring all ingredients are prepped and ready for service
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during busy periods
• Monitor food quality and presentation before serving
• Support the team in various kitchen tasks, including food storage and inventory management
• Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge

Experience

• Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred, with a focus on food preparation and cooking
• Culinary experience or relevant qualifications in hospitality or catering is advantageous
• Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations is essential
• Experience in a restaurant setting is beneficial, particularly in fast-paced environments
• A strong understanding of meal preparation techniques and serving methods
