Production Supervisor - Commerical laundry

Full Time - Roster covering Mon–Sat We’re a busy commercial laundry in Marrickville looking for a strong floor leader to act as second-in-charge of production. This is a hands-on role. You’ll run the floor, keep machines moving, manage staff, and step up as Acting Manager when required. If you have some experience supervising teams, good communication skills, and a good attitude, this is an opportune time to step up. What You’ll Do

• Coordinate workflow across washers, dryers & ironers
• Allocate staff to machines and manage breaks
• Train and shadow new starters
• Monitor throughput and quality
• Step into bottlenecks or absences
• Escalate faults, shortages or incidents
• Liaise with maintenance & logistics
• Oversee morning setup
• Open and Close operations as required.
• Manage job system tracking
• Report and liase with business directors.

About You

• Experience in production, manufacturing, laundry or similar
• Confident leading a team on the floor
• Organised and calm under pressure
• Mechanically minded / troubleshoot equipment faults.
• Reliable with strong work ethic
• Physically fit and happy to work hands-on
