Mission

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This role will lead infrastructure provisioning efforts, provide advanced technical support, resolve complex issues, and ensure the smooth operation of GCP environments. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of GCP services, expert proficiency in Terraform, and proven leadership ability.

Day to Day

• Lead Terraform-based infrastructure design, provisioning, and automation across GCP
• Develop and manage reusable Terraform modules for scalable infrastructure
• Provide L2/L3 support and troubleshoot complex issues across networking, security, and hosting
• Manage incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions
• Review and approve infrastructure changes and support release processes
• Monitor performance, availability, and cost, and resolve bottlenecks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor support engineers

Must Haves

• 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure or cloud engineering
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with core GCP services
• Proven experience in a leadership or technical lead role
• Expert proficiency in Terraform for provisioning and managing GCP infrastructure
• Strong experience creating, managing, and versioning Terraform modules and state
• Strong proficiency in GCP services (Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, VPC, IAM, Cloud SQL)
• Proficiency in scripting (Python or Bash)
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging, Prometheus, Grafana)
• Strong problem-solving and communication skillsPluses
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, GKE, Kubernetes)
• Experience with automation tools such as AnsibleCertification (Pluses)
• Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect
• Google Cloud Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer
• HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate
