Retail Manager

Join our dedicated team at Oporto Manukau, Auckland, NZWe are looking for a motivated and committed Retail Manager to join our team in our Restaurant in Auckland. You will be responsible for the Restaurant’s day to day operation and for maintaining and fostering a professional and positive work environment, promoting productivity, and ensuring high-quality customer service.What we offer:· Minimum of 30 hours and maximum of 40 hours per week with a pay rate between $30.00 - $33.50 per hour.To be successful in this role, you should possess a solid understanding of exceptional customer service and how to cultivate long-term relationships in hospitality. Additionally, QSR skills or experience would be essential.You will be required to work on a weekly roster basis, you must be available to work on weekends and public holidays. Your Key Responsibilities –· Direct and organize daily operations and motivate staff to provide excellent customer service· Ensure customer satisfaction and follow restaurant procedures to increase productivity.· Maintaining records of stock levels and financial transactions.· Conduct quality checks throughout the shift.· Observe and ensure the overall appearance and cleanliness of the Restaurant.· Direct and organize training programs to keep staff informed and knowledgeable of the Restaurant products and policies.· Lead, train and supervise staff, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and governing bodies.· Recruiting and managing staff, training & supervising staff· Cash handling, Bank Deposits and change orders.· Monitoring and managing customer complaints.· Identify and implement methods of improvement and bring about promotional ideas to increase sales.· Ensure compliance of all Restaurant operations to all applicable laws and regulations. Skills and Experience required:· Must have 2-3 Years work relevant experience.· Must be a mature person who can handle responsibilities during shifts for the Restaurant and staff independently.· Previous customer service experience is preferred but not essential as detailed training will be provided to the selected candidate.· Possess motivational and leadership skills.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: $30.00 – $33.50 per hourBenefits:
