Practice Opportunity

• Well established, thirty-year old practice is seeking to recruit a BE/BC general Gastroenterologist to join their expanding group.
• They are an independent group of two full-time general gastroenterologists and one GI who helps with call. However, the practice staff is employed by the hospital.
• They also have three PRN physicians, 3 Family Nurse Practitioners and one Certified Physician Assistant.
• Their brand new clinic with Epic EMR is located on the hospital campus. It is a short walk to the endoscopy center.
• They also have a group of five employed Advanced Nurse Practitioners utilized in the hospital and clinic.
• The Endoscopy Center has four procedure rooms (one for Pulmonary and three for gastroenterology). They also have 15 pre/post rooms.
• Call schedule is conducive to work / life balance.
• The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Typical day is about 16 scopes. They carve out two hours at the end of each day to do inpatient add-on procedures.
• They offer esophageal manometry and capsule endoscopy.
• Procedures: Colonoscopy, Colonoscopy with EMR, EGD, EUS, Fecal Transplant, Video Capsule Endoscopy, Manometry, Sigmoidoscopy, ERCP and Bravo
• Average in patient Census: 7 to 10 patients per day
• They have been approved for H-1B Visa sponsorship/transfer but not a J-1 Visa waiver.
• Availability: Gastroenterology Fellows completing their training during 2025 and 2026, and gastroenterologists who are already in practice and have work experience are all welcome to apply and will all be seriously considered.
