La Capannina is currently in search of a skilled and motivated Pizza Chef to become an integral part of our team at a bustling Mediterranean restaurant located in Scarborough Beach. The successful candidate should possess experience in various pizza types and be available during business hours. The primary objective is to contribute to heightened customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality pizzas.Key Responsibilities:- Create pizzas based on specific requests from our menu.- Execute instructions provided by the Head Chef.- Monitor food stock, manage supplies, and place orders as needed.- Propose new recipes to refresh our menu and attract more customers.- Receive and organize deliveries as necessary.- Ensure cleanliness and sterilization of kitchen equipment and tools before use.- Maintain a tidy and organized cooking station.- Conduct monthly stocktaking.Preferred Skills:- Minimum of 2 year of experience as a Pizza Chef.- Proficient in hand-stretching, preparing, and cooking pizza dough.- Familiarity with professional kitchen equipment.- Strong understanding of food safety practices and hygiene.- Exceptional team spirit with a customer-focused approach.- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and late evenings.- Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment.Job Details:- Type: Casual- Salary: Negotiable- Schedule: Shift work- Location: L1/171 The Esplanade, Scarborough WA 6019, Australia- Work Eligibility: Permanent work authorization with no restrictions on hours (e.g., citizens, permanent residents preferred but not limited to)- Remote Work: Not applicableWe look forward to welcoming a dedicated and passionate Pizza Chef to our team.
