Minara Resources has an opportunity for an experienced Superintendent - Project Engineering to join our established and dedicated team.

The Role
The successful person will become a member of a hardworking and committed team who are responsible for providing leadership to the site Project Engineering team in the selection, development and safe effective delivery of agreed projects.
- You will be responsible for:Collaborating with the department manager and department leadership team to align priorities and resources for optimising project outcomes;
- Providing project engineering expertise and leadership to the project engineering team to deliver the correct outcomes for the business Capital plan;
- Ensure projects comply with regulatory requirements, MMO standards and Australian Standards where appropriate;
- Actively contributing to safety & environment policy and new initiatives and implement change as directed by the management team;
- Identifying specific areas for cost improvement and ensure the development and implementation of action plans to achieve these gains; and
- Ensure all assigned projects and activities adopt a 'zero harm' approach to people and environment. This includes leading and/or contributing to all HAZOPs and design reviews for capital projects, particularly those required to tie new works into existing brown-field plant.
About You
This role would suit an analytical and critical thinker who has the ability to effectively supervise and direct a team of project engineers, designers and support personnel. You will be a self-starter who is capable of managing a team and prides themselves on achieving results.
- You will also have:High level understanding of all relevant legislation relevant to role in the mining industry in WA;
- Suitable Engineering degree qualification recognised by Engineers Australia; (Preferred)
- At least 10 years' experience in engineering and capital projects delivery in a site-based plant engineering role, including project management of significant brownfields engineering projects;
- Demonstrated application of continuous improvement ideas;
- Good computer skills with the ability to use integrated management systems, word processing, presentation and spread sheet applications; and
- Strong mechanical, technical and analytical skills.
