Workshop Manager

Carsy Pty Ltd is a rapidly expanding automotive business offering vehicle rentals, sales, mechanical servicing, and smash repairs. We are currently seeking an experienced Workshop Manager to lead daily operations and coordinate workshop staff and processes.This role requires a hands-on leader with strong organisational skills, technical know-how, and the ability to manage multiple moving parts in a busy car yard environment. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily staff attendance, task allocation and productivity
• Source and manage required parts, tools, and equipment
• Maintain cleanliness, safety and organisation of the workshop
• Ensure all job cards and daily work are completed efficiently
• Manage existing workshop tools and ensure they are in good condition
• Enforce WHS standards and safety protocols across the workshop
• Coordinate the placement and movement of vehicles in both workshop and display yard
• Supervise support staff, including cleaners, to ensure smooth daily operations

What We’re Looking For

• Experience as a Workshop Manager or Automotive Team Leader
• Strong mechanical or panel beating knowledge (hands-on experience desirable)
• Leadership and communication skills to manage and motivate a team
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
• Knowledge of safety procedures, job card systems, and inventory tools
• Current driver’s license
