OverviewWe are seeking a passionate and experienced Vocal Instructor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching voice techniques, curriculum development, and classroom management. The Vocal Instructor will be responsible for designing engaging lesson plans, conducting individual and group classes, and creating a positive learning environment that encourages growth and confidence.
Duties- Develop and implement vocal curricula for various ages and skill levels.
- Lead engaging individual and group lessons for children, teens, and adults.
- Foster confidence and stage presence through performance-based learning.
- Plan and direct recitals and showcases celebrating student achievements.
- Maintain records of attendance, progress, and lesson outcomes.
- Collaborate with families and staff to support holistic student growth.
Experience- Candidates who have earned or are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Music or Music Education are preferred.
- Candidates with experience coaching students for formal music examinations, such as Certificate of Merit (CM), ABRSM, or American Guild programs, will be given strong consideration.
- Prior experience in teaching vocal techniques across diverse age groups is preferred.
- Background in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management is highly desirable.
- Experience working with children, including early childhood education or preschool settings, is a plus.
- Familiarity with additional skills such as ballet, theater, dancing, or musical performance enhances instructional versatility.
- Knowledge of childhood development, behavior management, and special education strategies is beneficial.
