About the Opportunity
The INTEGRIS Health Nazih Zuhdi Transplant Institute in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, is seeking a BC/BE Transplant Hepatologist to join our established liver transplant division. The ideal candidate will actively engage in the care of patients with liver disease, including pre- and post-transplant patients and those with liver tumors. We are looking for someone committed to maintaining high-quality care and who thrives in a collaborative team environment. Enjoy the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team at the busiest transplant service in Oklahoma. Candidates should be board eligible, or board certified in Hepatology.

The Physician provides direct patient care.

Responsibilities
The Physician responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Thoroughly evaluates and manages each patient appropriately and documents information completely by use of written notes or dictation on a timely basis
- Identifies relevant medical issues accurately and uses appropriate procedures and testing
- Completes and maintains problem list, medication list, disease management forms, preventative maintenance flow sheets and other medical record forms
- Participates in the quality improvement and medical management plans as directed by the Medical Operating Committee
- Provides direction to staff members for an efficient and smooth running team
- Ensures fiscal viability of the practice
- Complies with policies and procedures if applicable.
- The Physician is responsible for patients.
This position may have additional or varied physical demand and/or respiratory fit test requirements. Moderate exposure to hazardous risks, including potential for exposure to infections and communicable diseases, blood and body fluids, electrical equipment, chemicals. Potential for bodily injury related to lifting and incidents of workplace violence. Must follow universal safety precautions. Exposed to constant interruptions, noise, disagreeable odors, and assorted chemicals.

Qualifications
- Oklahoma MD or DO license
- Fellowship trained
- BC/BE
