Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and motivated Chef to lead our kitchen operations and deliver exceptional dishes that represent the quality and identity of our restaurant. The ideal candidate will be capable of preparing consistent, high-quality meals, developing new recipes, and ensuring a safe, clean, and organized kitchen environment. The Chef will also play a key role in training and supervising kitchen staff. Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to restaurant standards.
• Collaborate with the Sous Chef to develop new recipes and keep up with food industry trends.
• Review menus, conduct inventory checks, and ensure ingredient availability.
• Work within the budget set by the Restaurant Manager and manage kitchen expenses effectively.
• Order and manage stock, ensuring timely delivery of required items.
• Monitor food production, portion control, and overall food and labour costs.
• Train, supervise, and guide kitchen staff to maintain consistency and quality.
• Manage vendor relationships and promptly resolve supply issues.
• Ensure standard portion sizes, presentation, and taste across all dishes.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic kitchen environment in compliance with food safety regulations

Work Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Chef or in a similar role.
