Job Description:
ICBM SERVICES PTY LTD is looking for an experienced Panelbeater for our client's auto repair and mechanic service provider across NSW, WA in Australia. On a full-time basis, you will be part of a multidisciplinary and well-supported team.Title: Panelbeater, Full- time positionSalary: A$ 85,000.00 to 95,000.00 plus superWork Location: In person.We are looking for applicants who demonstrate the following: Requirements· Certificate 3 including 2 years’ experience or Certificate 4 in Automotive Body Repair Technology· Metalworking Skills: Proficiency in welding, cutting, and reshaping metal components is key.· Use of Tools: Familiarity with tools such as hammers, dollies, spreaders, and grinders.· Knowledge of Paint Techniques: Understanding spray painting and finishing techniques for automotive surfaces.· Attention to Detail: Precision is critical when restoring vehicles to their original form and function.· Problem-Solving Skills: The ability to diagnose issues and develop effective solutions is a must.· Safety Awareness: Knowledge of safety protocols to prevent accidents in a workshop environment.· Good communication and teamwork skills. Responsibilities· Inspecting damaged vehicles to estimate the extent of repairs needed.· Collaborating with insurance companies or clients to provide accurate repair quotes.· Panel Repair: Fixing dents, scratches, and other damage to vehicle panels.· Component Replacement: Removing and replacing damaged parts such as bumpers, doors, and fenders.· Welding and Soldering: Joining metal components to restore structural integrity.· Surface Preparation: Sanding and cleaning surfaces in preparation for painting and finishing.· Applying primer and paint to restore the vehicle's original colour and finish.· Polishing and buffing painted surfaces to achieve a flawless appearance.· Using computer systems to match paint colours and estimate repair costs.· Incorporating advanced machinery such as hydraulic presses and laser measuring tools for precision repair.· Providing clear communication about repair options and timelines.· Ensuring customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality repair work.· Adhering to industry regulations and standards for automotive repair.· Working with other technicians, painters, and mechanics to ensure cohesive repair processes.· Staying updated with advancements in automotive technology and repair techniques.If you would like to discuss the role further, please click APPLY and send through an up-to date CV.
