Are you ready to make a real impact in this exciting role at the heart of transforming the Tees Valley economy? Teesside University is offering an exciting opportunity for a talented programme manager to steer a large multifaceted transformation programme.
As a key partner in the Tees Valley Investment Zone, Teesside University is leading the research and innovation workstream, as part of a £160 million, 10-year investment into the digital and creative sectors. We are seeking someone with drive, great stakeholder management skills and an eye for detail to help deliver the ambition we have for the programme.
About the Role You will be at the heart of mobilisation and delivery of this programme. This role involves supporting line management of a Programme Officer, working with stakeholders and across schools and departments to ensure in full- and on-time delivery of the programme. This will include collating regular reports & data for senior leaders and other stakeholders. You will manage the multi-million pound voucher fund for businesses, ensuring the advisory board is fully engaged and forecasts are accurate. You will also be responsible for submitting accurate claims to the funder and managing and maintaining subsidy controls systems, records and reports.
What We’re Looking For We welcome applications from individuals with expertise in areas such as:
- Significant experience working in programme and project management, managing high value programmes, with complex workstreams with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge and experience of publicly funded projects, systems, and processes, including subsidy control.
- Knowledge and experience of working with businesses to engage and support them in some way.
- Experience of working as part of a complex team including leading and managing others who may not be part of your direct team or organisation.

Support and Development As the Programme and Voucher manager you will be part of a cross institutional team with support from colleagues in legal, finance and the Research and Enterprise Office.
