Personal Care Assistant

Primary Objectives of the role

• To assist residents to maintain their independence wherever possible and to provide daily care using a person centred approach in accordance to the resident’s individual care plans
• To assist the Registered and Enrolled Nurse with resident care as directed, within the scope of practice
• To contribute to harmonious relationships within the team and work positively to achieve resident and team goals
• Work as part of a team to ensure that care provided aligns with the Aged Care Quality Standards

Essential Criteria

• Certificate IV minimum or equivalent in Aged Care or Individual Support (Medication Endorsed Health Care Worker)
• Current Police Check
• Current Influenza Vaccination
