Job Description:
Aurora Design Group Inc. delivers turnkey liquid and dry bulk storage systems, aluminum geodesic domes, and project services across Canada. We specialize in Front-End Engineering Design (FEED), retrofits, design-build, and contract/project management for industries including water, petroleum, mining, power, agriculture, and chemicals.Our solutions include:
  • Storage Tanks (API & bolted) for potable/fire/wastewater, demin/raw water, petroleum, mining, and power.

  • Dry Bulk Storage Systems (bolted or welded; integrated/fully installed) for cement, fly ash, bentonite, frac sands, grains, and dry chemicals.

  • Aluminum Geodesic Domes (API 650; self-supported, fully bolted) for bolted/welded/concrete tank coverage and custom applications.

Position OverviewWe seek experienced Engineering & Construction Project Managers to lead design-build and retrofit projects for storage tanks, dry bulk systems, and dome structures—from FEED to commissioning—ensuring safety, schedule, budget, and quality targets are met.Key Responsibilities
  • Manage full project lifecycle (FEED → detailed design → procurement → construction/installation → commissioning).

  • Lead retrofits, plant upgrades, automation, and engineered packages.

  • Direct contractors, engineers, and site teams; enforce quality and safety.

  • Build schedules, budgets, cost controls, and risk registers for turnkey delivery.

  • Ensure compliance with API standards, Canadian codes, and H&S legislation.

  • Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams; provide client updates and reports.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering (or related).

  • 10+ years in engineering/construction project management.

  • Proven experience with storage tanks, dry bulk systems, domes, or large industrial projects.

  • Strong knowledge of safety standards, budgeting, and code compliance.

  • Fluent in English and Farsi; Chinese or Turkish an asset.

  • Flexible to work across BC and Canada, including statutory holidays as required.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.

  • Relevant professional certifications (asset).
