The UK Van Lanschot Kempen Institutional Relations team is paramount to the development and growth of the UK business and we’re searching for the very best candidate to join us. We all contribute differently, but we share the same characteristics when it comes to our dedicated client service and our desire to grow the business.

You will be responsible for consultant relations at Van Lanschot Kempen – maintaining and developing strategic partnerships with the UK consultant market for our fiduciary and OCIO services.

You will also have the following responsibilities:

• Leading on regular communication with the selection consultants – including quarterly updates, returning data requests, annual DDQs, and any other ad hoc requests and interactions.
• Assisting with RFP responses and how they can speak better to Van Lanschot Kempen's strengths and weaknesses for each consultant.
• Understanding how UK consultants rate Van Lanschot Kempen, and identifying and helping to address areas for improvement or further development.
• Inputting into our fiduciary and OCIO propositions, including how to improve messaging and maintaining standard responses.
• Arranging your own consultant events with the relevant content for distribution to mailing lists.
• Producing materials to help consultants understand our proposition and the data we provide, such as factsheets, slide decks and other literature.

Enthusiastic, self-motivated with a positive mentality. An ability to guide our consultants in a constantly changing market. Thinking outside the box and asking questions.

A successful candidate will be able to balance the development of relationships with the need for the technical aspects of defined benefit pensions and other fiduciary/OCIO investing.

Importantly, you are eager to make a real difference to our institutional relations team.

You also have:

• At least 5 years of relevant experience and knowledge across the pensions industry and the UK consultant market.
• Problem-solving skills, a strong sense of responsibility and integrity, and highly effective working relationships with various stakeholders.
• Good mastery of English, both oral and written.
