Job Description:
Begin date: 4/1/2026 Full Time: Yes Number of Workers Requested: 2 Job Duties: Piping Rock Club, Inc. dba Piping Rock Club seeks Bartenders, 2 openings, Temporary, Peak Load, full-time positions from 4/1/26 to 10/31/26 at 150 Piping Rock Road and 105 Sheep Lane, in Locust Valley, NY, 11560. Bartenders: prepare and serve drinks, beer, wine; prepare mixers for commonly ordered mixed drinks; keep bar area and items (glasses, corkscrew, utensils) clean and sanitary; serve drinks and prepared snack plates. Count inventory of bar products. Accurately bill into the POS system. Set up and break down portable bars for events; assist restaurant staff in daily closing and preparation of facility for the next event. Must be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs. Ensure Alcoholic Beverage Control Laws are enforced. No experience necessary; will train. Workers will be paid no less than $30.75 per hour. Returning workers and workers with more experience may be paid higher wage rates up to $31.00 per hour. Overtime hours may be available at a rate ranging from $46.13 to $46.50 per hour. Generally, minimum of 35 hours per week, on average 7 hours per workday and 5 workdays per week. Weekends and holidays required. Various shifts required, but generally 10 am-4 pm or 6 pm-10 pm daily. Conditions of employment for H2B and U.S. workers: 1. Initial transportation to begin the seasonal/peak employment (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging) to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed, if the worker completes half the employment period. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Return transportation will be provided if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early by the employer. Daily subsistence will be at least $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts. 2. H-2B workers will be reimbursed during the first workweek for subsistence, visa, visa processing and related costs, except passport costs, by company check. 3. The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. 4. The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period. 5. Employer will use a single work week for computing wages starting each Monday at 12:00 am and ending Sunday at 11:59 pm and the employee will be paid every Thursday. 6. Optional, voluntary on-site dormitory style housing is available, first come first served while available, at no cost to worker. 7. All Hired workers (incl. H-2B and U.S.) must complete company online application and pass standard background investigation, which is paid for by the employer and conducted after offer and acceptance and prior to commencement of employment. 8. The employee must submit to and successfully pass a drug screen. The cost of which will be paid for by the employer. 9. Employer will make deductions from worker’s paycheck required by law. 10. Employees with more experience, or returning employees, may be offered a higher wage rate. 11. This position is eligible for a signing bonus for returning workers in future seasons. 12.
