Oversee and coordinate maintenance requirements, defect rectifications, deferred defects, and AOG support to optimize efficiency and maximize aircraft serviceability.
Handle CASA applications (MEL extensions, permits, unservice abilities), ensure compliance with aviation regulations, and provide guidance on non-standard repairs or modifications.
Liaise with Fleet Services, Operations, Flight Crew, and external partners to align maintenance activities with flight schedules and authorize ferry flights when required.
Monitor parts supply chain, manage defect requisitions, maintain safety standards, provide technical support to aircrew, and ensure smooth workflow through effective handovers.
Qualifications:
Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (B1 or B2).
Proven experience working on turboprop or jet aircraft types.
Demonstrated supervisory experience, with the ability to oversee maintenance requirements to optimize efficiency and maximize aircraft availability.
Holder of EASA license
Work Set-up:
Permanent position.
Willing to commit to a 3-year placement in Broome or Kununurra.
