Join the Laboratory team at Health New Zealand Taranaki and be part of a dedicated team providing 24/7 diagnostic testing in biochemistry, blood bank, haematology, and microbiology. As a Medical Laboratory Technician, you will contribute to various disciplines such as Point of Care Testing, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, and Specimen Services. With operating hours from 0800 to 1700 on weekdays, you will also engage in weekend and other out of hours shifts to provide continuous support. Moū | About you As a successful candidate, you will : -
  • Hold qualification that’s enables registration as a Medical Laboratory Technician with the Medical Sciences Council of New Zealand (MSCNZ) or are prepared to train towards
  • Medical laboratory technical and scientific skills or an interest in this area
  • Phlebotomy experience (preferred but not essential).
  • Proven ability to work in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • High level of attention to detail
