Enrolled Nurse – MercyAscot Hospitals Location: Auckland, New Zealand Employment Type: Full-Time About the RoleMercyAscot Hospitals is seeking a dedicated Enrolled Nurse (EN) to support high-quality patient care across its private surgical hospitals. Working under the supervision of Registered Nurses and senior clinical staff, you will assist in delivering safe, compassionate, and effective care to patients throughout their treatment and recovery journey. Key ResponsibilitiesProvide basic and intermediate nursing care to patients.Assist with hygiene, mobility, feeding, and daily care needs.Monitor patient conditions, including vital signs and overall wellbeing.Support post-operative recovery and ongoing patient care.Assist Registered Nurses and doctors during clinical procedures.Perform wound care and approved treatments within scope of practice.Administer medications under supervision where applicable.Observe, record, and report changes in patient conditions.Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.Collaborate with healthcare teams to support patient care plans.Follow infection control, safety, and healthcare compliance standards. Skills & ExperienceNew Zealand Diploma in Enrolled Nursing (Level 5 or equivalent).Current registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand (NCNZ).Strong communication and teamwork skills.Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care.Ability to follow clinical instructions accurately and safely.Commitment to professional and ethical nursing standards.
