Masocasa Pty Ltd. is looking for a passionate and experienced Chef to join our team in Melbourne. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations at one of our restaurants, ensuring high-quality food preparation and maintaining efficient kitchen management. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with restaurant standards
- Manage daily kitchen operations
- Oversee stock rotation and inventory control
- Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are maintained
- Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff
- Assist with menu planning and development
- Maintain consistency and quality in all food preparation
Requirements
- Proven experience working as a Chef
- Previous experience with Latin cuisine is highly preferred
- Strong kitchen management and organisational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety standards
- Availability to work full-time including weekends
