Location: Berkeley Heights, NJWork Mode: Hybrid (Onsite 2–3 days per week)Employment Type: Contract (W2 only – No C2C)Duration: Multi-year engagement, extended annuallyH1-B Transfer: Available for the right candidate About the RoleWe are seeking a Mid-Senior PHP Developer (6–10 years of experience) to join our team in Berkeley Heights, NJ. This is a multi-year contract role (renewed annually) in a hybrid onsite model. Candidates must demonstrate strong backend development skills, PHP expertise, and hands-on experience with scalable enterprise applications. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain PHP-based web applications.
• Work with modern PHP frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, CodeIgniter, or similar).
• Build and optimize RESTful APIs and integrations.
• Collaborate with frontend teams to deliver full-stack solutions.
• Write clean, testable, and scalable code following best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
• Work with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and support DevOps automation.
• Ensure application security, scalability, and performance.

Required Qualifications

• 6–10 years of proven experience as a PHP Developer in enterprise environments.
• Strong proficiency in PHP 7/8 and modern frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Solid knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS for integration.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle production issues.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Knowledge of microservices architecture.
• Exposure to API security, OAuth, JWT authentication.
• Prior work in financial or enterprise-grade applications.

Engagement Rules

• Contract Position (W2 only) – No C2C, No Agencies.
• Role requires 6–10 years of professional experience — entry-level applicants will not be considered.
• Multi-year contract with annual extensions.
• H1-B transfer available for the right candidate.
• Hybrid onsite role (2–3 days per week, Alpharetta, GA or Berkeley Heights, NJ).
