What We're Looking ForAs a
Corrosion Engineer, your expertise is valued, you will provide technical engineering support across the design, delivery and management of corrosion and cathodic protection projects.You are able to
work collaboratively with engineers, project managers, field personnel, clients and contractors, and be willing to get involved in both the technical and operational aspects of project delivery. from initial investigation and design through to installation, commissioning, monitoring and ongoing technical support.You will be organised, commercially aware, able to manage competing priorities and comfortable taking ownership of your work.
Key Role Responsibilities:- Providing technical corrosion and cathodic protection engineering support.
- Supporting the design, assessment and delivery of cathodic protection systems.
- Undertaking site inspections, testing, surveys and technical investigations.
- Preparing technical reports, specifications, calculations and project documentation.
- Providing technical input into tenders, estimates and project planning.
- Supporting project teams to deliver work safely, efficiently and in accordance with client requirements.
- Monitoring project performance across time, cost, quality and technical requirements.
- Identifying technical issues and developing practical engineering solutions.
- Liaising with clients, contractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Supporting commissioning, monitoring and maintenance activities.
About you:- A degree in a relevant engineering discipline chemical engineering or similar.
- AMPP Cathodic Protection (CP2) certification or higher.
- Practical experience within corrosion engineering and/or cathodic protection.
- Experience working on infrastructure, industrial, utilities, resources or similar projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
- The ability to prepare clear technical documentation and reports.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A practical approach to engineering and project delivery.
- A strong commitment to health, safety, quality and environmental requirements.
- Experience in the design and delivery of cathodic protection systems will be highly regarded.
