Job OverviewThe role involves overseeing HR administration, recruitment coordination, employee compliance processes, and workforce operational support within Shika Trends Ltd, a retail and wholesale company specialising in custom sash production and distribution.The successful candidate will support recruitment activities, maintain HR records and compliance documentation, coordinate onboarding processes, assist with workforce planning, and support management in ensuring effective employee administration and operational compliance across the organisation.The role also involves supporting internal communications, staff coordination, policy implementation, and maintaining efficient HR operational systems to support the company’s continued expansion.
Responsibilities Support recruitment activities including vacancy coordination, applicant communication, interview scheduling, onboarding, and induction processes. Maintain accurate employee records, HR files, compliance documentation, contracts, and internal workforce databases. Monitor employee documentation including right-to-work checks, training records, attendance records, and compliance requirements. Support workforce coordination, staff scheduling administration, and internal HR operational processes. Assist management with workforce planning, employee administration, and staffing support across retail and wholesale operations. Support the implementation and maintenance of company policies, procedures, and workplace standards. Coordinate internal staff communication, meetings, training activities, and employee engagement initiatives. Prepare HR-related reports, operational records, and administrative documentation for management review. Liaise with employees, recruitment contacts, service providers, and management teams regarding workforce-related matters. Support compliance with internal procedures, company standards, and relevant employment-related requirements. Assist with identifying and implementing improvements to HR administrative systems and operational efficiency. Maintain confidentiality and secure handling of employee and operational information at all times.
Candidate Requirement- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Management, or a related discipline (preferred).
- Previous experience in HR administration, recruitment coordination, compliance support, workforce administration, or operational support roles.
- Strong organisational, administrative, and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Understanding of HR operations, employee administration, and workplace compliance procedures.
- Ability to maintain confidential records professionally and securely.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant business software systems.
- Ability to work independently and support multiple operational priorities effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Experience within retail, wholesale, manufacturing, or e-commerce environments (desirable)
Pay: £24,420.00-£33,400.00 per yearBenefits:
