We are currently recruiting for the Emergency Retrieval team of our organisation for February 2026 and August 2026 start dates. Opportunities are available for Full Time Registrars and Part Time Consultants to join our team. A Day in the Life of a Retrieval Registrar
No two days or two patients will be the same. We offer a variety of rotations at our various sites in the Far West and Western, NSW including;
- our Bases in Dubbo and Broken Hill. You will participate in a rotating training program with placements in Dubbo and Broken Hill;
- local rural hospitals; and
- providing telehealth services.
Who are we looking for? We require our Medical Officers to:
- Have a minimum of 5yrs post graduateexperience
- Be at an advanced trainee level fromone of the following colleges: CICM, ACEM, ANZCA, ACRRM (with JCCA/DRGA). This includes equivalent colleges from eligible overseas applicants.
- Have completed a minimum total of 18months critical care time (ED and ICU) and 6 months anaesthetics.
- Have experience in the management ofcritically ill patients including trauma.
- Ideally have completed ALS, APLS,ATLS (or equivalent)
- Have recency of practice in a critical careenvironment
What's in it for you?
- Base salary of $203K inclusive of 20% shift worker loading - plus generous salary packaging;
