spend even longer on the part of the job he hates: turning those scribbles into a report.

reinventing this process for the AI era. Scope radically simplifies how inspectors collect data in the field, make decisions, and produce reports. Along the way, we’re building the
world’s largest dataset on the condition of the built world and the decisions experts make about it.
It’s a
$100B+ market and we’re only just getting started. We have grown revenue
5x in the last year and on track to reach 10M ARR in 2026. 6 of the top 10 companies in the space are clients or piloting with us. Our customers inspect facilities and products for companies including
AstraZeneca and SpaceX.
We’ve assembled a best-in-class team: former and future founders, people from institutions like Imperial, Carnegie Mellon and Oxford, and from firms like Goldman Sachs, McKinsey and Amazon.
Since launching from Entrepreneurs First in 2024, we’ve raised
$4m in seed funding from Susa Ventures across two rounds and

About This Role
We’re entering a phase of sustained growth and want to
build hiring as a core capability.
You will be the
first member of this team.
This role owns
end-to-end hiring alongside the founders for engineering, product and GTM roles and will shape how we attract, assess, and close talent as we scale.
This is a
hands-on, high-ownership role. You’ll help design the system and run it.
We work
in person five days a week from our sunny office in Farringdon. We believe being together helps us move faster and it's more fun!
What We’re Looking For
Must-haves
- 3+ years experience recruiting engineers
- Experience in early-stage or scaling startups
- Proven ability to source directly, not just manage inbound
- Strong intuition for technical bar & team fit
Nice-to-haves
- Experience as a first or early recruiter
- Experience building hiring processes from scratch
- Employer branding experience
What You’ll Do
Own the hiring engine
- Run end-to-end recruitment
- Translate headcount plans into clear hiring strategies
- Own pipelines, prioritisation, and time-to-hire
- Design and continuously improve:
- Interview processes
- Scorecards
- Feedback loops
- Hiring metrics (time-to-hire, pass-through rates, source quality)
- Nurture and head hunt top candidates
- Build and maintain long-term talent pipelines
Candidate Experience
- Run a high-touch, respectful, fast candidate experience
- Set clear expectations and close loops properly
Compensation And Benefits
- £75,000 - £95,000 + equity + bonus per hire
