OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Manager to oversee our payroll operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll, compliance with relevant regulations, and maintaining the integrity of payroll data. This role requires a strong background in human resources and accounting software, with a focus on systems such as Workday, QuickBooks, and PeopleSoft.
Duties- Manage the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Oversee data entry and maintenance of employee records within HRIS systems.
- Collaborate with the human resources team to ensure accurate employee classifications and compensation structures.
- Conduct regular audits of payroll data to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare reports for management analysis, including payroll summaries and tax filings.
- Liaise with accounts payable to ensure timely payment of payroll-related expenses.
- Provide support during internal and external audits related to payroll processes.
- Stay updated on changes in legislation affecting payroll practices.
Requirements- Proven experience in payroll management or a similar role within human resources.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure while meeting strict deadlines.
- Familiarity with accounts payable processes is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with various departments.
